GUIDELINES FOR PAPER PRESENTATION
The Scientific Papers selected for the following IAP Delhi Awards 2025 will be presented during North Zone Pedicon & PCNI 2025 on 30-31 August, 2025 to be held at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi.
Members of IAP Delhi, fulfilling the criteria laid down in the attached “IAP Delhi Award Rules” are invited to submit their papers for any of the IAP Delhi Awards mentioned below.
- Dr P.N. Taneja Award for General Pediatrics
- Dr Satya Gupta Award for Social Pediatrics
- Dr Sarla Vaishnava Award for Metabolic Diseases
- Best Thesis Award for PG (MD/DNB) Pediatrics
- Best Super-Speciality Thesis Award for (DM/DNB) Pediatrics Super Speciality
- Paper Presentation Awards for Oral Presentation Award (Research only) & Physical Poster Presentation Award (Case Report/Research)
- Special Awards for Best Physical Poster by UG (MBBS) Student
- Young Pediatricians Award for Research done after MD by a member of IAP who is 40 years or younger. This is open for Original Research only (no case reports/case series)
Guidelines for Scientific Paper & Poster Presentation
General Guidelines

Papers shall be submitted typed in double space, single side, according to the instructions given as per “Indian Pediatrics” with a Certificate from Head of Department that the work has been conducted by “The candidate and that it has not been Published elsewhere earlier”.
General Instructions
- Paper and poster should be related to Pediatrics
- Presenting author should be registered delegate of the conference
- At least one the Authors should be member of IAP Delhi
- Write Title, Category (Award/Free/Poster), name of authors and institution with city on first page. Provide name email and bromine number of presenting author. Do not include degrees or professional designations. Quote the IAP membership number of at least one of the authors. For award papers, mention of the age of presenting author.
- Time of Oral Presentation is 8 minutes followed by 3 minutes for questions asked by panel of judges.
- No Delegate can present more than one paper in one category
- Last date of submission is 31st July, 2025

Award Paper Category

- Full paper should be submitted, abstracts alone will not be accepted.
- Paper should be in “Indian Pediatrics” Original Article Format
- One soft copy should be submitted at abstractspcni@gmail.com
Free Paper Category
- Paper not chosen for Awards will be considered for free paper/poster presentation
- Free papers may be submitted directly also
- Abstract should be printed using ARIAL font, with font size 12 and should not be more than 250 words.
e-Poster
- One soft copy should be submitted for Poster Presentation
- Use tables for figures appropriately
Thesis
- Soft copy of complete thesis should be mailed at abstractspcni@gmail.com
- A separate one page should be submitted in same mail with Identification details of students & institution.
- The remaining Thesis document should be completed blinded.
- Thesis Completed and submitted in would only be accepted.
- Undertaking has to be submitted that the submitted study has not be presented in other conferences/CME and not published till date.

- It is open to a regular member of the Academy (I.A.P. Delhi State Branch).
- Contestants should not be of more than 35 years of age as on 31st December of the year in question.
- Only that work shall be allowed to be presented, which the candidate has done in one of the Institution based in Union Territory of Delhi. The papers should be one relating to original work done in India within last 5 years.
- In case the candidate is working in any of the institution, the paper should be accompanied by a certificate from the Head of the Department/Institution that the work has been conducted by the candidate and that it has not been presented or published elsewhere earlier.
- All the papers submitted will be judged by a Committee of Experts and 75% marks allotted. Up to 4 papers will be selected from each category and presented, where a panel of judges will judge the papers only on presentation, 25% marks will be allotted for presentation and for awarding the best paper in a given category, the total of both marks shall be considered.
- Papers should be ethically acceptable.
- Only one award will be given in each Award. The value of each Award is:

- Papers must be submitted by 31st July, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
- Four sets of papers shall be submitted typed in double space, single side, according to the instructions given in ‘Indian Pediatrics’. You should check Instructions for Authors at www.indianpediatrics.net before preparing and submitting your paper for consideration of Award.
- Identity of the authors or place or work should not be disclosed in the Full Paper. These details should be only mentioned on the Title Page (usually the first page) and in the covering letter to be attached with the submission
- At least 50% of pre-judgment marks must be got to qualify for the presentation in the Annual Conference.
- Time allotted for each paper shall be 10+5 minutes.
- For the papers to be considered for the Award, the candidate must present the paper himself/herself.
- Opinion of Judges and Executive shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained regarding this.
